Our experience at the retreat on the island of Kythira in Greece was extraordinary and far beyond our expectations. From the warmth of the sun and caring people our days were filled with culture, history and sunset yoga which is incomparable to any other experience we've had. My mom, sister and I were made to feel so welcome and relaxed it was so hard to leave such a beautiful island. We can't wait to go back! The island of Kythira is situated off the southern coast of the Peloponnese. It is bordered by the Aegean, the Ionian and the Cretan seas.
Our retreats are held in the village of Avlemonas on the south eastern coast of the island. This location was chosen for its seclusion and spectacular beaches. It is possibly the most picturesque village on the island. Best of all, Kythira is never overrun with tourists. It boasts over 50km of coastline, and mountains filled with herbs, wildflowers, and Byzantine villages.
